STELLA DAMASUS’ FIRST MOVIE, WATER GIRL, SET TO DEBUT IN THE U.S. 2025
Actress and producer Stella Damasus has expressed her happiness over the selection of her first full-length feature film, “Water Girl,” to open at the esteemed Flathead Lake International Cinemafest. “Water Girl” has also been nominated for five awards.
These include Best Director, Best Actress, Best Original Score, Best Picture (Feature), and Best Montana Film. The film festival is scheduled to take place in Polson, Montana from February 14–16.
On social media, Damasus shared her joy and appreciation for the project, praising the talented cast and crew.
She described the achievement as a “Christmas came early” moment and promised that ‘Water Girl’ is “about to shake things up” in the industry.
“Water Girl” features an original score by Blessing Agu and Kasiemobi Udemadu, who are also nominated for their work, and stars Moriyah Faith J, who is nominated for Best Actress. She wrote on Instagram: “I am so excited about this project and can’t wait for you all to see it.
I was an actor and co-producer on this one. WATER GIRL is about to shake things up. Message from the writer, producer/director: Christmas came early!!!!!”
