
JUST IN: COURT GRANTS DELE FAROTINMI N50 MILLON BAIL
An Ekiti State Magistrate Court has granted bail to human rights attorney Dele Farotimi in a defamation action brought by Afe Babalola.
Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate for the African Action Congress (AAC) in 2023, made the announcement on his X Twitter on Monday.
According to Sowore, Farotimi was given N50 million in bail, and a surety in the same sum was required to pledge landed property as security. The matter has been postponed until January 29, 2025.
