CRESCENT UNIVERSITY ISSUES DISCLAIMER ON FAKE ADMISSIONS
Crescent University, Abeokuta, has issued a stern warning regarding a fraudulent scheme targeting prospective students and their parents. The university’s management revealed that certain individuals have been circulating fake admission letters online, deceiving unsuspecting parents and students into making large payments to private bank accounts that are not affiliated with the institution.
Regrettably, some parents have fallen victim to this scam, losing significant amounts of money to the perpetrators.
In response, the Registrar of Crescent University, Barr. Zakariyya Ajibola, has emphatically stated that no payments should be made to any personal bank account claiming to be associated with the university. He urged those who are uncertain about the authenticity of any admission information to directly contact the university through the following channels:
Email: registrar@cuab.edu.ng
Phone: 08127735173
The university reassured the public that all legitimate admission processes will be conducted through official channels only.
