Egret Media, a pioneer in empowering women and fostering impactful change, marked its remarkable 15th anniversary in grand style with the 2024 edition of its highly anticipated Egret Girls Brunch and Awards.
The event, held on Tuesday at the Radisson Blu, Ikeja, GRA, Lagos, brought together a diverse group of influential women, entrepreneurs, and innovators known as ‘Egret Girls’.
Egret Girls are members of the Egret Learning Hub Business Community who have attended the Com4Growth End of the Year Business Bootcamp.

In her opening remarks, the CEO and founder of Egret Media, Mutiat Olagoke, expressed profound gratitude to the Almighty, acknowledging His unwavering guidance, protection, and blessings that have been instrumental in shaping and sustaining the journey thus far.
Mutiat extended heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the success and growth of the organization over the years.
She acknowledged the unwavering support, encouragement, and dedication of individuals who have stood by the community’s vision, emphasizing that their efforts have been instrumental in its achievements.
The Chief Egret Girl delved into a detailed reflection on the significant challenges faced throughout the year 2024, shedding light on the multifaceted hurdles that arose.
From navigating complexities to dealing with uncertainties and overcoming obstacles, she highlighted how these experiences tested the community’s resilience and adaptability.
Mutiat noted that while the year presented numerous trials, it also served as a period of profound growth and learning, instilling invaluable lessons that have strengthened the organization’s foundation.
“Leading this community is a privilege, and it has become a central part of my identity. I’m proud to be a cheerleader, coach, and confidante for the women who look to me for guidance and inspiration. It’s a role I wear with pride, even if it’s not for everyone.”
Furthermore, the lead coach praised the platform created by the Egret Girls Brunch, which unites women leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, and visionaries from all walks of life.
