BREAKING: MAHAMA SWORN IN AS GHANA PRESIDENT
International leaders witnessed the swearing-in of John Mahama as Ghana’s new president.
The former governor defeated Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, his primary rival, and was proclaimed the victor of the 2024 presidential election on December 8.
Previously serving as the nation’s 12th president from 2011 to 2017, Mahama was re-elected and returned to office.
On Monday, Bola Tinubu, the president of Nigeria, left Lagos to attend the inauguration.
Accra, the capital of the Republic of Ghana, is the present location of the event.
