Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko is joyfully celebrating his daughter, Shola Kosoko, as she marks her 45th birthday today, January 7th, 2025.

On his Instagram page, the actor, who recently earned a Doctorate, congratulated his daughter on her special day, expressing that only God knows why she is the way she is. He mentioned that her consistency and focus are his greatest sources of happiness.

Jide added that his daughter is a true example of slow and steady wins in the race. Calling her his golden daughter, he rained prayers on her.

“Omo mi Ayinke, Congratulations on your birthday, Maami; Almighty God knows why he created you like this; your consistency and focus remain my source of happiness; you are indeed a good example of slow and steady wins in the race. Almighty God will continue to lead you right, aarin iwo ati Olorun koni baje, aarin iwo ati oko e koni baje. May God be with your family. Happy birthday, my golden daughter”.

The celebrant, on her part, shared photos of herself as she called for prayers from her Instagram fans and followers.

For her 44th birthday last year, Jide Kosoko had written a heartfelt tribute to his daughter, calling her his mother and noting how they share the same birth month and are like twins.

A few weeks ago, the veteran actor sparked conversations among his fans when he posted a striking selfie of his daughter. The light-skinned actor humorously questioned why his followers were admiring her and jokingly asked if they had N500 billion to offer him just for an introduction and consultation.

In other news, Shola recently gave fans a peek into her married life. In an interview, she shared the story of how she met her husband and how their different religious backgrounds almost posed a challenge to their marriage. She also expressed her views on divorce, stating her perspective on the matter.

Shola Kosoko has been married to Abiodun Abinna for over 10 years and they have three children – two daughters and a son.
