EFCC VS OTUDEKO: COURT PROCEEDING ADJOURNED AS DEFENDANTS ABSENCE STALLS TRIAL
The EFCC vs. Oba Otudeko and other defendants case was postponed by the Federal High Court today because the defendants failed to show up for court.
The EFCC was unable to serve the defendants with the charges; thus, they did not appear. However, the trial was postponed until February 13 in order to continue.
The defendants had charges preferred against them, but the EFCC said they couldn’t serve them. Since the EFCC served their attorneys with charges today, the judge postponed the trial until February 13 in order to give them a fair trial.
The attorneys for the defendants protested the media trial that the EFCC had set up.
