BREAKING: LAWYERS IN MGBIDI, OGUTA, OMMUMA SHUT DOWN COURTS OVER KILLING OF COLLEAGUE
Courts in Mgbidi, Oguta, and Omumma areas of Imo State were closed on Thursday after the killing of prominent lawyer Chinedu Nwowu.

In response to the tragic incident, the Orlu Branch of the Nigeria Bar Association, to which the deceased belonged, declared that no court sessions would take place in Mgbidi, Oguta, and Omumma. The branch also called for an emergency meeting of its members, which is set to take place at the High Court in Mgbidi, according to a press release issued by Chukwuemeka Okoro on behalf of the branch.

“The Mgbidi, Oguta and Omumma High Courts will not sit today. Please, be punctual.”
