
SECURITY ALERT AGAINST SUSPECTED PLANNED TERRORIST ATTACKS IN KANO
The Kano State Police Command, along with other security agencies, has received intelligence about potential terrorist threats aimed at public gatherings in key areas of Kano State.
In a statement, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, urged residents to stay vigilant and avoid crowded areas until further notice, as security measures are being implemented to help identify and neutralize potential attackers.
The statement reassured the public that adequate security measures are in place, with a team of experts from the Command’s Explosive Ordinance Disposal, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear units deployed to key locations within Kano and surrounding areas.
