MY HEALTH IMPROVED AFTER I LEFT OFFICE AS PRESIDENT – BUHARI
Former President Muhammadu Buhari has spoken about his health after stepping down from office on May 29, 2023.
Buhari mentioned that his health has gotten better, noting that he appears to be in better shape since leaving office in 2023.
During his time as President, Buhari struggled with health issues, which sometimes required him to travel abroad for medical treatment.
After completing his two terms, he transferred power to Bola Tinubu.
In a speech at an All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders’ meeting at the Katsina State Government House, Buhari implied that the challenges of being Nigeria’s President had an impact on his health.
“Those outside the corridors of power do not understand the complexities and difficulties facing Nigeria.
“My health has improved since leaving office. People who visited me told me I look better than before.”
