
TWO MEN ARRESTED FOR CAR THEFT IN EKITI
The Anti-Vehicle Theft Section of the Ekiti State Police Command has apprehended two individuals for stealing a 2009 Toyota Corolla in Ilomu-Ekiti.
Taiwo Johnson and Ibrahim Aderinto were arrested in Kajorepo-Ibadan, Oyo State, on January 21, 2025.
According to a statement from the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abutu Sunday, the suspects were caught for conspiring to steal the vehicle from the owner’s compound in Ilomu-Ekiti.
During questioning, the suspects admitted to the crime and assisted authorities in recovering the stolen vehicle.
The Command urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police.
