
PICTORIAL: FIRST LADY REMI TINUBU PAYS COURTESY VISITS TO IBB, ABDULSALAMI IN NIGER
The First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, visited former military leaders, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (rtd) and General Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd), at their homes in Minna, Niger State, on Tuesday.
Accompanied by Hajia Nana Shettima, wife of the Vice President, Senator Tinubu first visited General Babangida to check on his health and discuss topics of mutual interest.
Afterward, she visited General Abdulsalami Abubakar at his residence for a similar meeting.
General Abubakar expressed his appreciation, calling the visit a “heartwarming gesture” and thanked the First Lady for her concern about his well-being. Justice Fati Abubakar, the former First Lady, was also present to welcome her.
In March 2024, President Bola Tinubu was also reported to have paid a courtesy visit to Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar at his residence in Minna.
