DON JAZZY AND WIZKID RECONCILE AFTER SOCIAL MEDIA FEUD [VIDEO]
Famous Nigerian music producer, Don Jazzy, has made amends with Wizkid, months after their social media disagreement.
Their reconciliation was documented in a now viral video and photos circulating online.
The feud between them began a few months ago following Wizkid’s controversial comment that “Hip hop is dead.”
In retaliation, Ladipoe, one of the artists signed to Don Jazzy’s Mavin record label, responded to Wizkid.
Ladipoe wrote, “Nigerian rappers that survived ‘hip hop is dead’ watching Afrobeat artists go through their own.”
A fan called Wizkid’s attention to the Ladipoe’s shade and Wizkid replied; “lol never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer. Next.d’.”
Wizkid also retweeted several posts that implied he was referring to Don Jazzy as just a social media influencer.
This caused a stir online, with some users criticizing Wizkid for disrespecting Don Jazzy, whom they regard as a music icon.
In response to the controversy, Don Jazzy unfollowed Wizkid on social media.
