HEARTBROKEN MAN ATTEMPTS SUICIDE BY DRINKING SNIPER INSECTICIDE IN HOTEL ROOM AFTER BEING JILTED BY LOVER
A jilted lover, Adedoye Emmanuel, is fighting for his life at Igando General Hospital in Lagos after attempting suicide with Sniper Insecticide following a painful breakup.
The incident occurred at a hotel on Governor’s Road in Ikotun, Lagos, where Emmanuel had booked a room. He is a resident of Agbado, Lagos, and his suicide attempt was reportedly triggered by heartbreak and other personal issues.
Emmanuel’s desperate act involved mixing Sniper insecticide with Coca cola and Action Bitters, which he consumed in his hotel room. Shortly after, he raised an alarm and ran out of his room, prompting the hotel owner to intervene and rush him to a nearby private hospital.
At the hospital, Emmanuel revealed his motivations for attempting suicide before losing consciousness. He was subsequently transferred to the intensive care unit of Igando General Hospital, where doctors are battling to save his life.
During a visit to the hospital, it was clear that Emmanuel’s life hung in the balance. Unfortunately, his phone was not with him, and the two numbers he provided before becoming unconscious were unreachable, making it difficult to contact his family members.
The police at Ikotun Division have been informed of the incident and have recovered the can of Sniper insecticide from Emmanuel’s hotel room. A Good Samaritan has been covering Emmanuel’s medical expenses, but efforts to reach his family members have been unsuccessful.
