
MODEL COLLEGES/ UPGRADED JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS COMMENCES E-REGISTRATION FOR YEAR 2025 ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
The Lagos State Government has begun the 2025 e-Registration for the Entrance Examination (Screening Test) for Primary 6 students transitioning to Junior Secondary Schools in its Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools.
Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu, Director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, confirmed that e-Registration will run from Thursday, February 6th to Friday, May 16th, 2025. The Screening will take place via Computer-Based Test (CBT) only from Wednesday, May 28th to Friday, May 30th, 2025, at various CBT centers across the state.
Mr. Orunsolu emphasized that qualified students from both public and private schools are required to pay a fee of ₦10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira Only) for the application.

Additionally, the Director explained that registration for the examination will be done through the Examinations Board Portal at https://pay.examboard.com.ng/model/payment/login.
He clarified that the Screening Test is the only criterion for admission into JSS1 at any of the State Model Colleges. Orunsolu advised prospective candidates to visit the Board’s Head Office at 254, Ipaja Road, near the NYSC Orientation Camp, Agege, for any further inquiries
