
ZAMFARA: MILITARY TAKES OUT ARMS SUPPLIER, STOPS WEAPONS SHIPMENT
Troops from Operation Fansan Yanma have killed a suspected arms supplier who tried to flee after being intercepted with weapons intended for bandits in Zamfara State.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama shared the news on his official X account, revealing that the incident took place during a night operation in Nasarawa Burkullu. Acting on reliable intelligence, security forces were able to confront the suspect, who was identified as a known arms trafficker from Anka.
Makama reported that when the suspect saw the troops, he attempted to escape but was quickly neutralized.
Initial investigations confirmed that the suspect was transporting firearms and ammunition to bandit groups operating in the region.
