√ CP orders discreet investigation
The Ekiti State Police Command on 15/02/2025 at about 19:00hrs, arrested one JIMOH ABDULRAMAN who brutally assaulted his wife, one Mrs Akintunde Bidemi Taiwo, of NOVA Area, Ado-Ekiti
Upon a tip-off and after watching the viral video of the victim, the Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, CP Joseph Eribo, directed the DPO Oke-Ila to immediately identify the culprit, arrest him and commence a thorough investigation.
The operatives from Oke-Ila division swung into action and arrested the suspect. The case has been transferred to the Gender Based Violence (GBV) Unit of the State CID for discreet investigation and arraignment accordingly.
