RUSSIA CARRIES OUT OVERNIGHT ATTACK ON UKRAINE WITH 147 DRONES
Russian drone strikes on Ukraine overnight caused damage to private homes and storage facilities, Ukrainian military and officials said Monday.
Ukraine’s air force shot down 83 of the 147 drones, while 59 more failed to reach their targets, most likely as a result of electronic countermeasures.
Regional Governor Mykola Kalashnyk reported that the drone strike on the Kyiv region destroyed four private dwellings, injured one man, and sparked a fire at an industrial complex that has since been extinguished.
Governor Oleh Syniehubov of the Kharkiv area claimed on Telegram that the drones had damaged windows in 14 residential homes, an administrative building, and three storage facilities of an enterprise.
Three women had acute stress reactions during the attack, Syniehubov noted.
