23-YEAR-OLD MAN ARRESTED IN EKITI FOR ATTEMPTED MONEY RITUAL WITH HIS 6-YEAR-OLD NEPHEW (VIDEO)
A 23-year-old man, identified as Solomon, from Ayedun in Kwara State, has been arrested in Ekiti State after attempting to use his 6-year-old nephew for money ritual.
According to reports, Solomon took the child to a local babalawo (traditional healer) in Ekiti for the ritual, but the babalawo reportedly refused to carry out the practice.
The babalawo, who became suspicious of Solomon’s intentions, immediately reported the incident to the police. Authorities swiftly intervened, leading to Solomon’s arrest. The suspect is currently under investigation for attempting to exploit the young boy in the illicit ritual, which has drawn widespread condemnation across the community.
The case has raised serious concerns about the growing number of ritual-related crimes in the region.
The police have assured the public of their commitment to ensuring justice and preventing further criminal activities of this nature.
