
ADEKANYE BAGS ELITIST WOMAN OF THE YEAR AWARD (ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE)
The Tutor General/Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Education District II, Mrs Anike Adekanye has been awarded the Year 2025 ‘Elitist Woman of The Year. (Academic Excellence)’, at the 14th edition of the Professional Banquet And Leadership Award Ceremony, held at the Lagos Country Club, GRA, Ikeja.
The award presentation which was organized by the Elitist Media, Publisher of Elitist Magazine was aimed at recognizing excellence in leadership and administration in the society.
The Chief Executive Officer, Rotarian, Prince Afolabi Phillips, In his speech noted that this year’s award themed ‘Celebrating Leaders Extraordinaire’ was to recognize and celebrate the awardees to inspire them to do more, saying ” Eku ise lo nmu ori Onise ya”.
He noted that Mrs Anike Adekanye alongside other awardees, has created an indelible mark that cannot be forgotten in a haste to justify her recognition, adding that the celebration also marks the 15th Anniversary of the organization.
Reacting, Mrs Adekanye applauded the organizers for the initiative adding that all her achievements could not have been possible without God. She also appreciated the State Government for giving her the opportunity to serve and contribute her quota to the development of education in the State.
In her words, “To God be the glory. All my achievements could not have been possible without God on my side. I’d like to also appreciate Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu and his team for giving me the platform to serve. I thank Elitist Media for seeing me worthy of this award and I do not take it for granted.
