Cynthia Morgan, a former dancehall performer from Nigeria, has criticized President Tinubu.

However, she pointed out that the president still has time to take action. Cynthia promised that the cost of living will go down if petrol prices dropped to N500. She went on to say that it is only fitting that we gradually eliminate all subsidies with the appropriate infrastructure and development.

In a similar vein, Lizzy Gold had observed that the cost of groceries in the market is very high and that the new gas pump now costs N1000 per liter. As she observed how the people look up to the President, she questioned how people were surviving and urged him to take action.
