
LATEEF ADEDIMEJI, MO BIMPE GO INTO WORSHIP AS LISABI RECEIVES 10 AMVCA NOMINATIONS (VIDEO)
Nollywood actor and filmmaker Lateef Adedimeji, along with his wife, Mo Bimpe, are celebrating a major achievement as their film Lisabi earned 10 nominations at the AMVCA.
Kemi Filani reported on Sunday that the organizers of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) had announced the nominees, and Lateef’s 2024 film Lisabi secured 10 nominations.

The film was nominated in categories such as Best Indigenous Language West Africa, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Sound Design, Best Art Direction, Best Costume Design, Best Makeup, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing.
In response to the exciting news, Mo Bimpe shared a video on her Twitter page featuring herself, her husband, and their team members in a moment of worship, expressing gratitude to their Maker for the remarkable achievement.

Lateef has certainly made significant strides in his career, and now, he’s gaining well-deserved recognition for his talent.
In 2024, Lateef ventured into filmmaking with the release of Lisabi, a film that honors the legacy of Lisabi, a legendary warrior from Egbaland.

The movie earned widespread praise from audiences and even returned to Netflix’s top 10 list in December of the previous year. Lateef expressed his gratitude to his wife, Mo Bimpe, for her unwavering support, as well as to his production company, assuring the public that he wouldn’t let them down.
Mo Bimpe shared her excitement as Lisabi ranked among the top ten most searched films in 2024. She highlighted how data doesn’t lie and expressed her joy that, when people talk about filmmaking in 2024, their work is part of the conversation.
Building on the success of Lisabi, the couple released a sequel, which also made it onto the list of the most searched Nigerian films of 2024.
