BREAKING: YPP REP CLARA NNABUIFE DEFECTS TO APGA
A member of the House of Representatives, Clara Nnabuife, has officially defected from the Young Progressives Party (YPP) to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Nnabuife, who represents Orumba North/Orumba South Federal Constituency in Anambra State, cited her exclusion from YPP’s activities as the reason for her defection.
In a letter read on the floor of the House during Thursday’s plenary by Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu, she stated that APGA would provide a better platform to serve the aspirations of her constituents.
“The exclusion from the activities of YPP and the need to embrace a better platform to represent the wishes of my people is the reason for this decision,” the letter read in part.
