Tech billionaire Elon Musk has sent a stark message to Rep. Maxine Waters, a seasoned Democrat, after she was filmed suggesting that U.S. First Lady Melania Trump should be investigated and potentially deported.

The video, which shows Maxine Waters making the remark about the First Lady during an anti-Department of Government Efficiency event, quickly went viral.

In the video clip, posted by X account “End Wokeness” and Fox News host Sean Hannity, Waters could be heard saying: “If he (President Donald Trump) wants to start looking so closely to find those who were born here and their parents were undocumented, maybe he ought to first look at Melania.”

According to INDEPENDENT News, the 86-year-old Rep also issued an empty threat on Melania declaring: “We don’t know whether or not her parents were documented. And maybe we better just take a look.”

Her comments came in response to efforts by President Trump’s administration to eliminate birthright citizenship in the U.S., a proposal that has encountered significant challenges from judiciary officials.

Commenting on the alleged threat by Waters, Musk wrote on X: “At some point, the many crimes of Maxine Waters will catch up to her.”
