JUST IN: AMAECHI SAYS FUBARA, WIKE AT ODDS OVER REVENUE SHARING

Read Time:34 Second

Former Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, stated that the conflict between suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara and Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike stems from revenue distribution.

In an interview with DW on Saturday, Amaechi also criticized President Bola Tinubu’s emergency rule in the state, calling it unconstitutional.

He said, “The fight between the current governor of Rivers State and the FCT minister is about sharing money. If not, what is the quarrel. Nigerians don’t dislike corruption again. I’ve not seen anybody on the street querying what the problem is. Can both of them speak to the public and tell us what the problem is about?”
