OTTI APPLAUDS NDDC, URGES ABIA TO EXCEL AT NIGER DELTA SPORTS FESTIVAL

Abia State welcomed the Niger Delta Sports Festival (NDSF) torch tour with a brief ceremony at the Umuahia Township Stadium and the Government House.
The State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Nwaobilor Ananaba Nwadinma, received the torch at the stadium before leading Team Abia to the Government House, where it was formally presented to Governor Alex Otti.
Upon arrival, the governor hosted Team Abia to a dinner, after which the torch was ceremoniously lit and handed over to him by the commissioner, drawing admiration from attendees.
In his address, Governor Otti encouraged the team to strive for victory in Uyo, assuring them of a grand state reception upon their return.
He also commended the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) for initiating the festival, highlighting its potential to foster unity and uncover hidden sporting talents across the Niger Delta region.
