
EDO: DSS ARRESTS TWO KEY SUSPECTS IN UROMI KILLINGS
The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested two prime suspects linked to the recent killing of 16 travelers in Uromi, Esan North-East Local Government Area of Edo State.
Governor Monday Okpebholo’s Chief Press Secretary, Friday Ituah, confirmed the arrests in a statement on Tuesday, stating that they were made based on credible intelligence.
Security agencies are actively pursuing other key suspects involved in the tragic incident. The arrested individuals have been transferred to Abuja for further interrogation and prosecution.
On Monday, Governor Okpebholo visited Kano State to condole with the families of the victims and revealed that 14 other suspects had already been apprehended and would also be moved to Abuja.
The governor assured the victims’ families that justice would be served and pledged adequate compensation for their loss.
