TUBABA SEEN IN COURT WITH LAWMAKER PARTNER AS EDO GOV TRIBUNAL BEGINS JUDGEMENT
Singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, was sighted in court on Wednesday, where the Edo State governorship election tribunal is ready to deliver judgement with his new partner, Natasha Osarawu.
2baba was seen walking hand in hand with Natasha, who is a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, as they made their way into the courtroom.
The couple became an item in February when 2baba first accompanied Natasha to a plenary in Benin City. The African Queen crooner later declared that he wanted to marry the Edo lawmaker.
He followed his declaration with a marriage proposal in a video widely circulated on social media.
2Baba’s marriage to actress Annie Idibia had hit the rocks before his relationship with Natasha became public. The singer, however, said that his relationship with Osarawu has nothing to do with the marital tension between him and Annie.
Natasha is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, whose candidate in the September 21, 2024, governorship election in Edo State is challenging the victory of Governor Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress.
The three-man panel of the tribunal, led by Justice Wilfred Kpochi, reserved its verdict on March 3rd after parties in the matter adopted their final written addresses.
Reading of the judgement will commence in a few minutes.
