Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known by his stage name Odumodublvck, has stated that he declined “life-changing” funds offered to him in order to run against Peter Obi, the candidate of the Labour Party, in the run-up to the 2023 presidential election.
In response to opponents who argued that he had the right to demand that Peter Obi promote his record “The Machine Is Coming” in order to repay his allegiance to him, he made the assertion.
Considering that Obi gave his life for the previous governor of Anambra State, Odumodublvck said that it was reasonable to expect him to market his music.
On his X handle, he wrote, “Ask Abbas, I was offered money I had never seen to campaign against Mr Peter but I turned it down.
“Telling him to promote my new album is not too much to ask as I am not the one to seek favours. I sacrificed my life for this man.
“No wam. The Machine Is Coming.”
