
CRIME: GUNMEN ABDUCT ONDO COMMERCIAL DRIVER, KILL SON
In Owo, Ondo State, a well-known commercial bus driver named Muihili Adebayo was kidnapped by gunmen, who killed his son and injured his wife in the process.
The tragedy happened on Wednesday at the deceased’s home in the Owo Local Government Area’s Shagari neighborhood.
One of their children was slain in the struggle, and Adebayo’s wife was shot while fending off the kidnappers, according to a neighbor who spoke to our correspondent on Thursday.
According to the eyewitness, Adebayo’s wife was being treated at a neighboring hospital when the boy tragically passed away.
According to an unnamed family member, the kidnappers have contacted them and are requesting a N20 million ransom to free Adebayo.

Funmilayo Odunlami, the Ondo State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, confirmed the event and stated that the command’s tactical units are attempting to rescue the victim.
