
TRAILER HITS COMMERCIAL TRICYCLIST IN DELTA STATE
On Monday morning, a trailer struck and knocked down a commercial tricycle rider. Immediately after the incident, the trailer’s driver fled the scene.
However, the trailer’s motor-boy (conductor) was captured by bystanders.
The accident took place along New Road, shortly after Ministry Junction in Sapele, within the Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
Reports indicate that the trailer was speeding along one of the lanes when the tricycle rider veered into its path, resulting in a collision. The impact caused the tricyclist to suffer a severe head injury, while his passenger was also seriously wounded.
Following the incident, the trailer driver fled the scene. However, the conductor was caught by onlookers and beaten severely before being handed over to authorities.
