
VIDEO: ANGRY INVESTORS LOOT CBEX OFFICE IN IBADAN AFTER PLATFORM COLLAPSE
A group of enraged individuals on Monday night, stormed the CBEX office in the Oke Ado area of Ibadan, Oyo State, looting furniture and other valuables after reports emerged that the digital trading platform had crashed.
According to eyewitnesses, the crowd forcefully broke into the office, making away with items such as tables, couches, and other equipment.
The incident was reportedly sparked by the sudden collapse of the platform, which allegedly wiped out users’ account balances, leaving many with nothing.
In the aftermath, several affected users voiced their anger and despair over their lost investments, with some sharing their stories on social media.
A video currently circulating online captures a large crowd at the scene, with individuals seen removing office items from the premises.
Authorities have not yet issued an official statement or confirmed if any arrests have been made.
