
IYABO OJO CELEBRATES TANZANIAN IN-LAWS’ LAGOS ARRIVAL: “LOVE KNOWS NO DISTANCE”
Iyabo Ojo joyfully welcomes in-laws ahead of daughter’s wedding
Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo expressed excitement as her daughter Priscilla’s Tanzanian in-laws arrived in Lagos for the wedding with singer Juma Jux.
The family and friends were given a warm reception, including a luxury hotel stay and a welcome package featuring Iyabo’s movie, local fabric, wine, roses, and a Nigerian flag.
Sharing a video on Instagram, Iyabo said she felt honoured and noted that love knows no distance.
“We’re honoured to welcome our in-laws all the way from Tanzania for the JP2025 wedding celebration! Love knows no distance! East meet West African royalty.
A week back, Priscilla and Juma Jux had announced the date for their Yoruba traditional wedding ceremony, which is the 17th of this month. Sharing the wedding details, Priscilla and Juma said they are two hearts United as one soul with the mission ‘forever’.
The couple had released five pre-wedding photos ahead of their big day on Thursday.
In February, the couple held their wedding introduction in Tanzania with only their family members and inner circle in attendance.
Two days before Valentine, Juma Jux had proposed to Priscilla for a second time, in the presence of her family and friends. Sharing a video of the sweet proposal, Juma stated that he had to propose to her again with a ring that was twice the size, as he affirmed his love for her.
