
LEGENDARY PHILIPPINE ACTRESS NORA AUNOR PASSES AWAY AT 71
Nora Aunor, a veteran actress from the Philippines, passed away.
At the age of 71, Nora Aunor passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
The cause of her death was not revealed by Lotlot de Leon, her daughter, who announced the news on Instagram.
Lotlot de Leon; “Nora Aunor, It is with deep sorrow that we announce passing of our beloved mother, celebrated television and movie actress, and a true National Artist of the Philippines, Nora Aunor.
“Her funeral service details to follow. We thank everyone for their support and ask for continued prayers during this time of mourning”.
Nora who became famous in the 1960s as a singer before transitioning into acting, was given Philippine biggest honour for actors “A National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts” in 2022.
