
BREAKING: NIGERIA CUSTOMS ACHIEVES N1.75 TRILLION REVENUE COLLECTION FOR Q1 2025
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has reported a revenue collection of N1.751 trillion for the first quarter of 2025.
Bashir Adeniyi, the Comptroller General of NCS, shared this update during a press briefing in Abuja on Tuesday.
He noted that the service exceeded its revenue target for the quarter.
Regarding anti-smuggling initiatives, Adeniyi mentioned that Customs made 201 seizures, with a total value of N7.7 billion, in Q1 2025.
‘We believe the public has the right to know what is happening in the Nigeria Customs.
“I am pleased to report N1.751 trillion revenue collection in the first quarter of 2025,” he stated.
