Cristiano Ronaldo’s eldest son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., has received his first call-up to the Portugal Under-15 national team.

The 14-year-old, currently training at Al-Nassr’s academy in Saudi Arabia—where his father has played since December 2022—will represent Portugal in an upcoming youth tournament in Croatia from May 13 to 18. The team is set to face Japan, Greece, and England.

Ronaldo Sr., a Portuguese football legend and five-time Ballon d’Or winner, shared his pride on social media, posting a photo of his son’s name on the squad list along with the caption, “Proud of you, son.”

Cristiano Jr. has followed in his father’s footsteps, having spent time in the youth academies of Manchester United, Juventus, and Real Madrid.

His father, who holds the record for the most goals in men’s international football with 136 for Portugal, remains active with the national team. In March, Ronaldo scored but also missed a penalty in Portugal’s dramatic victory over Denmark to secure a spot in the Nations League semi-finals.
