LAGOS OFFERS BEST PILGRIMAGE SERVICES – LSCPWB SECRETARY
The Board Secretary of the Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Dr. Gbolabo Okudero, has commended the Lagos State Government for providing what he described as the best pilgrimage services in the country.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to the General Manager of Eko FM/Radio Lagos, Mr. Jide Lawal, Dr. Okudero highlighted the state’s excellence in service delivery, including well-coordinated security, accommodation, feeding, transportation, and overall safety arrangements.
He credited the success of the pilgrimage programmes to the strong partnership between Lagos State and the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission. He also pointed out that trained staff, healthcare professionals, skilled tour guides, and seasoned clerics were in place to ensure the physical and spiritual well-being of the pilgrims.
Dr. Okudero encouraged prospective pilgrims to take advantage of the subsidised and reliable services, noting that pilgrimage trips are scheduled for July/August and November/December.
In response, Mr. Jide Lawal congratulated Dr. Okudero on his appointment and assured him of Eko FM/Radio Lagos’ support in promoting the board’s activities to boost participation among intending pilgrims.
