
LAGOS GOVT RESCHEDULES OGUDU-OWORONSHOKI BRIDGE REPAIRS, TRAFFIC DIVERSION

The Lagos State Government has announced the postponement of the planned repair works and associated traffic diversion on the Ogudu-Oworonshoki Bridge.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, disclosed that a new date for the commencement of the repair project will be communicated to the public in due course.
He assured motorists and residents that the state remains committed to ensuring public safety and minimizing disruptions during ongoing infrastructure upgrades.

“We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued cooperation,” Osiyemi stated.
According to reports, the bridge repair was initially scheduled to begin on May 13 and end on September 23.
