Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, the Ikosi-isheri Local Council Development Area Chairman, has delivered a powerful victory speech during a celebratory rally following her triumph at the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship primary election held on Tuesday.

Addressing a crowd of enthusiastic supporters, party faithful, traditional leaders, youth groups, and community stakeholders, Bada expressed profound gratitude for the trust reposed in her leadership and pledged an even more impactful second term. Emphasizing that the win was a product of “consistent dedication and collective focus,” the Mayoress described the victory as a mandate “not for prestige, but for purpose.”

Reflecting on her first term achievements across infrastructure, education, health, grassroots empowerment, and ICT, Bada asserted that the second term would focus on “bold expansion, accelerated development, and visible, lasting results.” She assured residents of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA that her administration remains committed to inclusive growth and sustained community engagement.

The event also served as a rallying call for party unity ahead of the 2027 elections.

Princess Bada extended an olive branch to fellow aspirants, stating that “reconciliation is already in motion” and stressing that “there are no winners or losers only co-builders of a greater tomorrow.”

In a show of gratitude, the Mayoress acknowledged the contributions of party leaders, ward chairmen, market women, youth groups, traditional rulers, and religious leaders, reiterating that their sacrifices and support were instrumental in securing her candidacy.

With the declaration “No shaking come 2027,” Bada signaled confidence in her team’s readiness to secure future victories while continuing to position Ikosi-Isheri as a model of progressive, people-driven governance.
