Monalisa Ayobami Stephen, a plus-sized actress and model from Nigeria, passed away.
On Wednesday, May 14th, 2025, Best of Nollywood (BON) CEO Seun Oloketuyi posted on Instagram to share the heartbreaking news.
Seun claims that Monalisa passed away in Lagos on Tuesday, May 13th, following a battle with internal hemorrhage and low blood sugar. He disclosed that the news of her passing was verified to him by her immediate younger sister.
The dead, according to Seun, was a lovely and industrious person.
“Brand influencer Monalisa Ayobami Stephen is dead, she died yesterday in Lagos after losing the fight against Low sugar and internal bleeding. Her immediate younger sister confirmed the death of this hardworking and beautiful soul”.
