EXCITEMENT BUILDS AS FUNKE AKINDELE ARRIVES IN TANZANIA FOR PRISCILLA OJO’S GRAND WEDDING FINALE (VIDEO)

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele is in Tanzania for the grand wedding finale of her colleague Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla Ojo.
Priscilla and her Tanzanian singer husband, Juma Jux, are set to celebrate the final part of their wedding this week in Tanzania.
Ahead of the wedding in two days, numerous celebrities are arriving in the country to attend what many are calling the Wedding of the Year.
In a video shared online, Funke was seen at the airport with Jayeola Monje as they landed in Tanzania.
The video has generated a lot of excitement, especially since Funke was noticeably absent from Priscilla’s Nigerian wedding.

On Priscilla’s wedding day, Funke sent her congratulations to the couple and offered prayers, expressing how honored she was to share in the special moment. She noted that Priscilla’s happiness reflects her love and dedication as a mother.
After the wedding, Funke expressed regret and sadness about missing the event.
She also congratulated Priscilla on securing her first endorsement deal following the wedding, declaring in the comments that this was Priscilla’s season of winning and celebration.
Back in 2022, during the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards season 8, Iyabo and Funke rekindled their close friendship after a previous fallout.
When Iyabo premiered her movie Labake Olododo, Funke showed her support, praising the film’s aesthetics and visuals and congratulating Iyabo on her accomplishment. She encouraged Iyabo to continue shining and to break new boundaries.
In an interview, Akindele shared how Iyabo Ojo and Sikiratu Sindodo supported her early in her career. She revealed that being stereotyped because of her physical appearance once made her break down on set, but Iyabo and Sikiratu stood by her and helped her through those tough times.
