DAVIDO REUNITES WITH DAUGHTER IMADE AFTER LONG CUSTODY DISPUTE

Nigerian music star Davido has reunited with his first daughter, Imade Adeleke, amid an ongoing custody dispute with her mother, Sophia Momodu.

The reunion follows a legal battle that began in April 2024, when Davido filed a lawsuit at the Lagos State High Court, seeking custody of Imade. He claimed Sophia had been preventing him from seeing their daughter.

In response, Sophia submitted a 102-paragraph counter-affidavit, accusing Davido of neglecting his parental duties, which she alleged began after she stopped being sexually involved with him.

As the legal drama unfolded publicly, Sophia’s uncle, journalist Dele Momodu, addressed the issue in a detailed Facebook post. He revealed that the court had referred both parties to Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in hopes of reaching a peaceful settlement.

Despite the tension, a positive turn came on Wednesday night, when Davido posted a heartfelt photo of his reunion with Imade, describing the moment as the “Best day of my life.”
