Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has disclosed that she exposed her daughter to nightlife and alcohol at the age of 17.
She made this revelation during a recent interview with content creator Mr. Lilgaga.
The film star expressed her appreciation for the fact that her daughter acknowledges her as the individual who introduced her to the realms of nightlife and alcohol.
“I took my daughter to the club for the first time at 17. And I like the fact that in her memoir, she would reference me as the person who introduced her to alcohol and clubbing,” she remarked.
However, Bakare’s admission has sparked varied reactions, with many criticizing her for permitting her daughter, a minor, to engage in alcohol consumption and nightlife activities.
