O. Seven people died in an accident on the Lambata-Minna route on Thursday, according to the Federal Road Safety Corps’ Niger Sector Command. Mr Musa Mohammed, the state Sector Commander, told the Nigerian News Agency (NAN) in Minna that two other people were injured in varying degrees. He stated a Mazda automobile with registration number CRC 686 XN and a Volkswagen Golf saloon car with registration number KTU 506 BK were involved in the collision, which happened around 7 a.m. in Dagibe village. “In the mishap, nine persons were murdered and two others were injured. They were carried to Gawun Babangida’s Federal Medical Centre, and the bodies were deposited at Sabon Wuse Mortuary,” he stated. Fatigue and a lack of control, according to the sector commander, were to blame for the crash. To avoid collisions, he recommended drivers to drive cautiously and obey speed restrictions.
