By Adeniyi Onaara
The #EndSARSMemorial march begins at Lekki Toll Gate, with comedian Adebowale Adedayo, well known as Mr Macaroni, and musician Folarin Falana, also known as Falz, in attendance.
Others in attendance during the Thursday parade to commemorate the two-year anniversary of the Lekki shooting include Nigerian influencer Feyikemi Abudu, also known as FK Abudu, and numerous youths.
According to hotjist.com, the Nigerian Police Force apprehended a man simply identified as Desmond Jacob.
He claimed to have been among the peaceful protestors who gathered at the Lekki Toll Gate on October 20, 2020, the day of the gunfire that resulted in the deaths of innocent demonstrators.
Jacob could be seen kneeling down in front of the toll gate, crying, before police officers came and picked him up.
After interrogation, he was released and asked to leave the toll gate.
