I need greater incentive to break my Guinness record –Kaffy

Kafayat Shafau-Ameh, aka Kaffy, is known to have broken the Guinness World Record for Longest Dance Party at the Nokia Silverbird Danceathon in 2006. It remains one of the best feats she has accomplished in showbiz.
When Sunday Scoop asked her if she would be willing to break the record she set, the dancer said she would need an incentive other than money to do so.
Kaffy explained, “Yes, if my son is dying and the doctors say doing so is the only way he would survive. Joking apart, I may need an incentive that is bigger than money to do that again. At the time I did it, dance was not popular and Nigeria was getting bad press. I had reasons to nearly die for something, and I almost died. It was not funny and it took me a long time to recover.”
Recalling that she took up the challenge during the Ramadan period, she said she only fasted once because she was not ready to die.
“While the competition was going on, people were collapsing. I did not want to lose any member of my team and I did not know their fitness levels. We introduced dance competitions and other things to stay busy. The moment you take a break, the judges give only a few seconds to either continue or leave,” she said.
