According to the victim who said he was arrested on 23 May, 2023, between Idiroko and Anthony, while trying to join the service lane from the first lane. He said he was made to pay a fine of N50,000 for disruption of duty.

Mr. Adams narrated that he didn’t drive on the BRT lane, neither did he drive on one way or the wrong way.

He lamented that after he was arrested, he had to trekked from Idiroko to Maryland and back to Anthony before trekking back again to LASTMA office in Oshodi without cash on him.

He said, “I was arrested by LASTMA officials (Messrs Rasheed O, Gbeminu, a police officer and another LASTMA officer) between Idiroko and Anthony while trying to join the service lane from the first lane.

There were about five cars in my front with LASTMA officers talking to the first one on the outer lane before joining the queue. I was actually wondering what could be the offense of the person before stopping ensconced behind the fifth car. Surprisingly, they Left the car and the other four in my front and now put their welded iron with thorns in front of my tyre.

I asked for my offense and they said i was not suppose to be on the lane, that all the cars were suppose to be on a single lane. I smiled because i knew they were up to something.
