I NEED NO SOCIAL MEDIA RECOGNITION, I OWN FIVE PROPERTIES IN LEKKI – SKIIBII
By Adeniyi OnaaraĀ
Skiibii has recorded his understated accomplishments and victories, despite the fact that he claims not to be a social media obsessive.
Skiibii remembered his modest beginnings in an interview with Adesope Olajide on the Afrobeats Podcast, revealing he used to live in Ojuelegba.
His mother is really pleased of him, he says, “My mother is proud of me, the things wey I don do.”
Skiibii, unlike his colleagues, stated that he does not do things for social media approval since he is not wired that way.
Following his huge breakthrough in the profession, the singer was able to gradually afford the finer things in life, eventually purchasing one property, then eventually four additional homes in the Lekki Peninsula, one of the pricey areas in Lagos State.
“I remember when you bought the house,” the presenter continued, prompting Skiibii to respond, “For inside that Lekki, I get like five!”
The artist went on to say that he only needs to pay for gas because he has everything he needs at home, including a recording studio that earns him money.
On December 24, 2014, Skiibii signed with Five-Star Music, under which he released many of his successful songs, including “Ah Skiibii.”
He quit Five-Star Music in 2017 to start his own record label,’more Grace Music World,’ where he worked on his debut album.
‘Sensima,’ his most recent and most popular hit, grabbed the music business by storm a year later.
Skiibii also added that he had to simply apply sense and only do necessary things because he has suffered in life.
