WORLD: DUBLIN VIOLENCE AFTER KNIFE ATTACK WAS OF A LEVEL UNSEEN IN DECADES – POLICE
The degree of violence that broke out in Dublin following the injury of three children in a knife assault was unprecedented in decades, the commissioner of police in Ireland stated on Friday.
“What we saw last night was an extraordinary outbreak of violence,” Garda Commissioner Drew Harris said. “These are scenes that we have not seen in decades.”
