PAUL POGBA TO STAR IN FRENCH MOVIE AMID 4-YEAR DOPING BAN
World Cup winner Paul Pogba will star in a French film to be released in April 2025 after filming scenes in Paris this week.
Pogba is serving a four-year suspension for a doping violation which was handed down February. The former France international said at the time that he has never deliberately taken banned substances and planned to appeal the decision.
The film is called 4 ZĆ©ros, and is a sequel to a successful 3 ZĆ©ros, released in 2002.
According to French outlet Le Parisien, which first reported on Pogba’s role in the film, the 31-year-old will play a youth team football coach.
Pogba’s appeal for the doping charge will be heard by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), and should his appeal be successful, his ban could be reduced.
